About the artist Cormac Cullinan

Welcome to my online store . A place to share my love of marking surfaces of all kinds. A medium to a surface is one of the oldest and purest experiences for us humans .

 Kilkenny born (1972), I now live in Co.Sligo , Ireland. I've always  drawn , and got bitten by the Graffiti bug in the early 80s and sketched  , drawn and painted ,ever since! Since the early 90s the Graffiti scene provided numerous outlets for all my artistic escapades and also subconsciously nurtured my artistic skills in general. 

So,  many murals , sketchbooks , tee shirts and workshops later  , my practice has broadened to encompass many of the traditional painting mediums as i try to crop my work to a canvas while preserving the freedom , energy and spontaneity of the urban and rural playground.

 Currently i'm working on various commercial murals and commissions in various locations  while enjoying a relatively new studio space exploring further avenues with graffiti style, the Irish landscape , people and things.
